- A Tasmania Parks Pass is not a ferry ticket. A ferry ticket is not a Penitentiary bed or a Darlington campsite. Those are separate fee systems. Official Parks Tasmania fees, camping, Penitentiary bookings and Encounter Maria Island ferry bookings are never affiliated here.
- This site does not publish a public contact email or contact form. Do not use unofficial channels for park emergencies, Parks Pass, camping, Penitentiary, ferry seats, or complaints — use official Parks Tasmania, Encounter Maria Island and emergency services (000). Do not attempt to use the site to send spam, malware or misleading content.
- Outdoor recreation involves risk. Maria Island days include a last-ferry hard stop, unfenced cliffs, a Grade 4 dolerite scramble on Bishop and Clerk, a tide-dependent Painted Cliffs platform, limited mobile reception, no shops, and wildlife on tracks. You are responsible for your fitness, navigation, weather and tide decisions, last-sailing buffer, packing, and compliance with park rules (including Parks Pass, fuel-stove rules, drone restrictions and wildlife distance).
